Client/Production Manager - eblox-Austin

eBlox is an Austin and Tucson-based web commerce company with a large client base. We’re looking for an energetic, multi-talented individual with an enthusiasm for managing the expectations and requirements of e-commerce customers both large and small. Client and project management experience is helpful, but our product offerings and customer base are unique enough that heavy project management or client services experience are not mandatory.

You need to be willing to work with dozens of customers every week, talking about their requirements, recommending solutions and providing estimates and product information. You’ll manage the client base for a single e-commerce platform first, but if your project chops prove worthy, you’ll be driving the big-ticket projects before you know it. Most often, you will manage the production of small e-commerce web sites from discovery to customer acceptance, as well as engage in ongoing account management and customer support. If you’re up for it, you might soon find yourself doing product management for the platform as well. Most importantly, you will be the first point of escalation for support for this platform. Extensive customer support experience isn’t necessary, but you should be comfortable explaining technical issues to no-tech-savvy customers.

Our customers are geographically dispersed but little travel is required; perhaps 3-4 times per year. Most communication is via phone and email, so you need to be comfortable with both. Experience with the MS Office suite required. Experience with online CRM packages, HTML, and e-commerce systems is a plus, as is any experience with the promotional products industry or company store programs.

eBlox is a small, casual company with a laid-back culture but we are serious about customer service. We do not believe in compartmentalization so be prepared to engage in every part of our business. You might help with site setup, design, and even marketing campaigns, but your most important skill will be your ability to talk to people and help them understand our products and process.
